Portrait of Casey SherbrookCap 1

Mt. Whitney · Senior

Casey Sherbrook

In the cage. Behind the boys.

Sherbrook gives his teammates the confidence to keep attacking. With him behind the defense, the boys know they have someone ready to make the next stop and give them another chance.

Portrait of Ruben RamirezCap 5

Mt. Whitney · Senior

Ruben Ramirez

First to the ball. Ready to attack.

Ramirez brings the effort that helps Whitney win possession, from the opening sprint to the work of taking the ball away on defense. He helps turn those opportunities into another trip down the pool.

Portrait of Phillip SoriaCap 7

Phillip Soria

Back in the water. Beside his teammates.

Soria’s return from injury brought another teammate back into Whitney’s rotation. Having him in the water gives the Pioneers more options as they share the work of a demanding season.

Portrait of Eli McLennanCap 8

Mt. Whitney · Senior

Eli McLennan

A powerful arm. A team-first game.

McLennan can make a defense pay attention with his shot, but he also takes on the assignments that make life easier for his teammates. Whether he is defending a dangerous scorer or finding an open player, he gives Whitney more than one way to compete.

Portrait of Isaac HernandezCap 9

Isaac Hernandez

A senior. A teammate. A Pioneer.

Senior Night is a chance to recognize Hernandez as part of this group and thank him for being part of Whitney water polo. On Senior Night, his family and teammates get to celebrate him and the season they have shared.

To our seniors and their families

This night belongs to you.

There is more to a season than what makes the scorebook. There are the practices, the rides to the pool, the familiar voices in the stands and the teammates beside you.

Thank you, Casey, Ruben, Phillip, Eli and Isaac, for your part in this team. And thank you to the families who have been there along the way. We’re glad we get to celebrate you.

Go Pioneers.
